Join us for a downtown walking tour during SXSW Cities Summit.

Discover how downtown Austin’s emerging parks and public places are transforming the experience of our young city. We will visit emerging outdoor spaces like Waller Creek, art-as-life practitioner Ai Weiwei’s Forever Bicycles, and our newly completed Central Library. We will also explore Austin’s historic squares—including Republic Square, recently renovated through a public-private partnership, and Brush Square, now the central city’s transit hub.

Jim Ritts, CEO/executive director of the Austin Theatre Alliance, will lead the tour. Guests including local downtown experts will join us to provide insight on creating growing cities for people. Participants will be encouraged to interact, ask questions, and learn together.

In true Austin style, coffee and breakfast tacos will be provided. Meet on the Four Seasons Lawn at 7:30 am for check-in. Tours will end at the Four Seasons at 9:00 am.

Don't delay, RSVP today! Space is limited.
